Stratford-Fox Run began with the acquisition of an equestrian centre in the Ottawa region, but the vision quickly grew into something larger: a multi-entity group built around excellence, experience, and long-term growth. The challenge was to define a brand architecture that could unify SFR Equestrian, SFR Distillery, and future ventures under one strategic umbrella while still giving each business room to connect with its own audience.
After exploring both House of Brands and Branded House models, we aligned on a Branded House system anchored by the Stratford-Fox Run master brand. This created a scalable identity structure that could build recognition and cohesion across the group while allowing each business unit to feel distinct, focused, and connected to the larger SFR brand ecosystem.
I developed a complete corporate identity and visual framework for SFR, including master and sub-brand logos in long and stacked configurations, single and multi-colour applications, and positive and reverse executions. A modified version of the original equestrian centre logo was preserved as a legacy mark, used sparingly as a nod to the property’s history.

To ensure clarity and consistency across all divisions, we created a comprehensive brand guide detailing the mission, vision, tone of voice, logo usage rules, colour systems, typography, file naming conventions, email signature standards, photography direction, and corporate stationery templates and digital applications.
The Stratford-Fox Run name was inspired by a meaningful encounter at an equestrian centre in the Ottawa region, where a fox appeared from the surrounding woods and became a quiet symbol of resilience, instinct, and possibility. At a time when the riding centre faced an uncertain future, the property became the foundation for a larger vision: a multi-entity brand built around excellence, experience, and long-term growth.
The system was extended into website strategy, design, development, and launch for Stratford-Fox Run, SFR Equestrian, and SFR Distillery. Each site was designed to serve its own audience while maintaining a unified digital presence across the larger SFR brand ecosystem.
